  Fantastic restaurant. Fine dinning but relaxed and open plan half inside / outside seating. Incredible menu - very innovative seafood and local oysters are very fresh - loved the Vietnamese oysters. Morton bay bugs were very very good w black risotto, cod and several prawn dishes are really impressive. Very good service - Sarah really looked after us. Incredible coffee also. Highly recommend this restaurant.

  Wheeler's was a delight. We went for a beautiful dinner for 2. It was intimate, service was lovely and the food was next level. The seafood was so fresh you could taste it. We particularly loved trying the ocean aged sparkling wine. Highly recommend this restaurant.

  The Oscar oysters entree was wonderful. However we were disappointed with the lobster main course - it was served cold and came with chips and salad, along with tartar and thousand island sauces in small cups, and two king prawns. This was no different to the type of meal you get in a pub or club for half the price. At $75, the lobster should have been presented better and come with decent sides, such as a fancy salad or gourmet vegetables or boutique potatoes.
  
  It was also disappointing that the waiter was not able to recommend, or even comment on, any of the dishes, nor recommend an appropriate wine to accompany our selected dish.

  Absolutely fantastic as always.
  Prompt, friendly and attentive service even though they had a huge party booking to deal with that night.
  Drinks were never empty, food came out on time, plates cleared in a timely manner.
  
  Oysters were amazing.
  Wife and I couldn’t decide what to get as mains and despite being as busy as they were, the staff gave us all the time in the world, helping with our choices and we never felt rushed.
  
  Flavour combinations were excellent.
  Everything was presented gorgeously.
  Portion sizes were spot on.
  
  For the service and quality received, price was very reasonable.
  
  I honestly can’t fault the experience and I highly recommend Wheelers.

  My husband and I always enjoy dining at Wheeler's when holidaying in the Sapphire Coast. This time we ordered the Seafood Platter for 2 and once again were very impressed with the freshness, high quality and excellent selection of seafood included. Each item cooked in its own special method and served with dipping sauces, delivered an exceptional dining experience!!
  Highly recommended!!

  The oysters .... the lobsters.... the wine... so tasty and oh so fresh. We had a lovely time tasting delicious local seafood in the afternoon sun post a swim. Such friendly and generous staff. Puppy dog Valerie say thanks too. See you next time.
